Creative uses for prunings

In Autumn and winter you might find yourself with a lot of prunings if you have a few fruit trees to maintain. At St Johns Food Forest I like to use the long straight or slightly curved branches for trellises, obelisks and woven panel posts. The thin whippy twigs and the grape vine prunings can be wound around the structures.
