Create a Moon Gate

I wanted to create a moon gate to add another concept to my garden. I started by deciding the location and scale. The frame of the moon gate was made from a couple of left-over 6mm metal reinforcing rods. The rusty colour was perfect. I bent the rods into an approximately 2m diameter circle, with the ends pushed into the ground.

I intend to let the frame settle into position and I will just observe it for a while so that ideas about which materials to use to cover the frame, will develop and become apparent. I might use grape vine prunings, cabbage tree leaves, nikau palm fronds, twigs, branches, large dried leaves, etc.
